The first round of the SuperEnduro World Championship is completed, where Billy Bolt beat everyone dominantly with a total of 63 points. In Liévin, the Husqvarna Factory Racing rider had no one near his level, with Jonny Walker being the closest. Diogo Vieira performed well and finished eighth.
This was the first time since 2017 that France hosted a round of the championship, and Bolt didn’t hold back and immediately secured the best time in the Akrapovic SuperPole.
In the first race of the night, he took the holeshot and assumed the lead. Eddie Karlsson (Husqvarna) had a remarkable start, taking second place ahead of Jonny Walker (Beta) before being pushed back by the British rider, who was determined not to be surpassed by Bolt. Dominik Olszowy (Rieju), Alfredo Gómez (Rieju), and the returning Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM) were fighting for the top positions. However, there were no changes in the lead until the finish line, securing the victory ahead of Walker, while Olszowy took the last spot on the podium.
Despite Bolt’s dominance, there were other highlights, including Portuguese rider Diogo Vieira (GASGAS), who took the holeshot in the second race but was eventually overtaken by the main contenders in the championship, with Bolt winning once again ahead of Walker, while Gómez finished third.
In the final race, Bolt stood out again, claiming another victory, with Walker coming in second and Will Hoare in third.
Overall, Diogo Vieira finished eighth and scored 24 points.
