Ana Carrasco is, hasta hoy, the only woman to have been crowned FIM motorcycle world champion – in Supersport 300, being part of a peloton full of men. However, the last few years have been marked by injuries, and in 2023 the scenario repeated itself at the Indonesian Moto3 Grand Prix.
Estar in this category will not be possible this year since there is no vacancy, aunque esté recovering from the injury suffered in Mandalika. For now, the Spanish rider does not have any confirmed sports plan for the new season, preparing herself independently of what the next months hold.
As for objectives, despite the uncertainty, Carrasco reiterated to the newspaper Marca that winning will be her goal: ‘It is difficult, in fact, porque mentiría if I didn’t say that I want to win. In the end, my short-term and long-term intention is always to try to be the best possible and continue to improve as a rider, but my goal is to win again wherever I am. Sometimes it can be achieved and sometimes it can’t, but I wake up every day with enthusiasm and a desire to win’.
