After several years at Kawasaki, Jonathan Rea moved to Pata Yamaha Prometeon for the 2024 World Superbike season. And even though he has just arrived, there is already a version of the YZF-R1 in his honor that you can buy.
Yes, you read that right. It’s the Yamaha YZF-R1 Jonathan Rea Replica, prepared by the Crescent Yamaha dealership. The base is the race bike, but adorned with a wide range of extras from the manufacturer’s official catalog.
Buyers can customize the bike, for example in terms of colors – it can be the official decoration of this season or the one Rea used during testing, combining black, gray, and white.
The GYTR Akrapovic exhaust, Öhlins NIX front fork, Öhlins TTX36 rear shock, and Brembo 19 RCS brake pump are some of the common elements to all units of this special R1 edition. The Brembo GP4RX racing calipers and T-Drive discs are optional.
Only 65 units will be produced – Jonathan Rea’s race number is #65 – with a base price of 34,970 euros. Those interested in buying can not only see the bike live on April 13th in Southampton but also talk to Rea. If you are interested in purchasing, you can check out this link.
