Yamaha has introduced its new Gran Filano Hybrid Connected in Indonesia. The style is retro, inspired by the classic style trend that continues to attract many enthusiasts, even the younger ones. 12-inch rims, luxurious and elegant design combined with numerous modern elements, such as the color TFT instrument panel, a novelty for a vehicle in this segment. The elegant look is reinforced by a well-preserved and strict LED lighting compartment, both for the front and rear headlights. There is also a courtesy light inside the compartment under the seat, with a capacity of 27 liters, which can comfortably accommodate a helmet and other objects.
But the real big news is related to the hybrid nature of this scooter, which uses a 125 cc Blue Core Hybrid engine with the help of an electric motor that offers a kind of “assistance” especially during acceleration, thus allowing significant fuel savings. There is also the classic start & stop system that turns off the engine when stopping at traffic lights.
The modern equipment can also be observed in the presence of important details, such as keyless ignition and the possibility of conveniently charging your smartphone through a socket behind the scooter’s protection. The fuel filling neck is also located on the rear protection, eliminating the need to open the seat for refueling. Finally, great attention is given to connectivity, as it is possible to receive notifications about the scooter’s status through a dedicated application.
We will have to wait and see if this scooter will reach our market, for now, we have no official communication from Yamaha.
