The Spanish brand Wottan Motor brings to Eicma 2023 some news from its range of scooters, as well as an interesting scooter prototype with a 16-inch front wheel. The Spanish manufacturer, with strong industrial relations with the Chinese company Taro, from which the Wottan models derive, presented the X-SUV, the Storm-X, and the D03, a prototype still in development that we will see in its final form at Eicma 2024.
The STORM-X 125 is a scooter equipped with a liquid-cooled, 125 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with electronic injection, a maximum power of 14.6 hp, and a maximum torque of 14.5 Nm. It is equipped with a Start&Stop system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. It also comes with switchable ABS and TCS. It will be available from the end of November 2023 at a price to be determined.
The X-SUV was designed for urban mobility. It will be available in two versions, one with 125 cc and another with 250 cc (but there is also talk of a possible increase in displacement to 300 cc). Built in Italy, the X-SUV was designed around a tubular steel frame, the frame is completed by a fork connected to a double adjustable hydraulic preload shock absorber. Both wheels are 14″. The engine is a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled single-cylinder with electronic fuel injection, which delivers a maximum power of 26 hp in the 250 cc version and 13 hp in the 125 cc version. According to the brand, the X-SUV will be available from May 2024 at a price to be determined.
