Mini is one of the most renowned and famous brands in the world of four wheels. From impressive performances on the track to victories over opponents in rallies, the small car has built a great name for itself.
And it continues strong over 60 years later, although now under German ownership (BMW), and no longer as “mini” as before. However, it still manufactures automobiles, has a wide range, and produces gasoline and electric models.
It is the electric models and the ownership of the brand by BMW that are behind this news: the CEO of the Mini brand spoke about the possibility of the company manufacturing electric motorcycles and does not rule it out.
Ms. Wurst was recently invited to try out the BMW CE 02, and it seems she liked it, writing on LinkedIn “I swapped four wheels for two and jumped on the new fully electric BMW Motorrad CE 02 for an exciting test ride,” and continuing to say “You can see by the smile on my face how much I loved it!
She was also asked about the possibility of starting to manufacture two-wheeled vehicles (alongside automobiles) by the automotive magazine AutoExpress. “If we had to do something, I would first look at the family and I think this is something that interests me… If I have interest in our markets, this is something I would consider.”
