On one hand, Marco Bezzecchi continues with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team for the third season, while Fabio Di Giannantonio joins the team this year – coming from Gresini.
The rider took some time to show his potential, but ended the last season on a high note – fighting for podiums and even winning for the first time in the premier class, at the Qatar GP.
The VR46 team manager, Pablo Nieto, highlighted to the MotoGP website that Di Giannantonio’s potential has already been evident, but for 2024 it will be important to first gain knowledge and build relationships within the garage:
– We saw his potential at the end of last season. It is true that this is the first time we are working with him, so we need to get to know each other because ultimately it is very important to establish that relationship with the chief mechanic, mechanics, and the whole team. But he already knows the bike, which is important.
