Alberto Puig, in statements to MotoGP.com, talked about the development process of HRC and the expectations he has for the future of the Japanese brand.
To follow this path, a collaboration was also created between the F1 team and the MotoGP team, to develop the RC213V: “It’s a process,” Puig added. ‘Of course, at this moment, we would prefer to be in the front. But things are what they are. We will continue to try.’
Puig then went on to explain, in practice, what the priority is for the behavior of the bike: ‘To seek greater contact with the asphalt of the rear wheel when entering and exiting corners.’
Then, a reference to Honda’s philosophy: ‘People know Honda. We will not stop until we reach the goal. We hope to see more significant progress after the summer, in the second half of the season. That is our hope and it is reasonable to believe in it’.
