Joan Mir arrives at the Catalan GP in 18th place in the MotoGP world championship. The former world champion continues to struggle to ensure a good performance with his Repsol Honda.
Recently, the Spanish rider has been linked to rumors that he may join the TrackHouse Racing team, as the team principal is Davide Brivio. Brivio was Mir’s team principal at Suzuki and they both won the MotoGP world championship in 2020 for the Japanese manufacturer. With the recent performances of the American team’s riders and both without guaranteed contracts for 2025, it would be a good opportunity for Mir and Brivio to reunite.
However, we arrive at the Catalan GP with Joan Mir excited to race in front of his fans and for the progress made in the last two races.
– “I am excited to be back in front of the home fans, it is always a busy weekend for us, riders, but we like it, whatever happens. We arrive here positively, our final result in France was not what we wanted, but in the last two races we were able to make good progress during the weekend. This is what I want to maintain, improve and make the most of our package. Let’s have a good weekend and put on a good show for all the fans!”
