Nowadays, electric motorcycles are very common. Manufacturers from all over the world are launching new e-bikes, all designed to be the “ultimate urban mobility device.” And while the vast majority take the form of scooters, there are some important exceptions that aim to preserve the fun factor of motorcycling.
The new VMoto TS Street Hunter is an excellent example of this. Also known as Super Soco, the company recently rebranded the VMoto brand to represent all its models, unifying them under one name. Along with this rebranding, models more performance-oriented have emerged, moving away from the brand’s scooter line.
VMoto markets the TS Street Hunter as a two-wheeled sports bike that feels at home in the city. VMoto describes the bike as “inspired by the world of naked street fighters,” and this can easily be seen in the bike’s style. From some angles, the TS Street Hunter resembles the Yamaha MT-09, as seen in the contoured fairing and the split design of the headlights and taillights. VMoto leans even further into this dark theme in its marketing, emphasizing that the bike is ideal for riding both day and night.

As for the battery, it is equipped with a 60-volt, 32 amp-hour battery with up to 1200 cycles. VMoto states that a full charge takes 3.5 hours, in exchange for 114 kilometers of range on a single charge. To make the deal even sweeter, you can even opt for a double battery, effectively doubling your range.
There is no information yet on pricing and availability. However, it is certainly exciting to see VMoto venture into the enthusiast space with offerings like the TS Street Hunter.
Electric scooters are certainly interesting, but more sporty options like the TS Street Hunter are always welcome in the electric two-wheeler market.
