The Sprint race of the Spanish MotoGP Grand Prix had an unusual number of retirements, with several crashes over the course of the 12 laps. And four of them were practically simultaneous.
With four laps to go, Álex Márquez (Gresini/Ducati), Enea Bastianini (Ducati), and Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM) all suffered crashes at turn five.
Practically simultaneously, Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) – who was leading at that time – crashed at turn nine, losing all chances of achieving what would have been his first victory with his current team.
Watch the incidents in the videos we leave you in this article.
