This Thursday, Oulton Park circuit hosted the second day of testing for the British Superbike Championship (BSB), which will have a round there over the weekend.
And things didn’t go well for Peter Hickman. The FHO Racing BMW Motorrad rider suffered a high-speed crash during the morning. It all happened at the end of the start-finish straight, at Old Hall corner.
The British rider had to be taken to the circuit’s medical center to be examined, but according to the championship’s official website, he returned to the track during the day.
In the end, Hickman set the ninth fastest time, 0.687s off the leader Glenn Irwin (Hager PBM Ducati). The video of the morning accident was shared on the BSB’s social media, taken from the race control surveillance cameras and captured from a distance.
