Pedro Acosta was one of the fastest riders in the first free practice of the French MotoGP GP this morning at Le Mans, but he didn’t fail to have a small scare.
The Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider almost lost control in turn six, but managed to avoid the fall by a narrow margin, continuing straight on through the gravel escape without major issues.
In the final classification of the session, Acosta was second, 0.237s behind Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) – thus being the best of the KTM riders.
It was a promising start for the Spanish rookie, despite the small mishap he almost suffered, which can be seen in the following video.
