Pedro Acosta had his first day as a MotoGP rider this Tuesday at the Valencia test. And the ending was certainly not what the Moto2 champion expected.
Close to the last half hour, the GasGas Tech3 youngster lost control of his KTM and crashed. The incident, for which there are no replays, was minor and had no major consequences.
Although he did not return to the track after the crash, Acosta held onto the 18th position in the timing table he occupied at the time, more than a second behind leader Maverick Viñales (Aprilia).
