The MotoGP French Grand Prix qualifying ended with a good result for Jorge Martín and Francesco Bagnaia… but neither of them had the ending they wished for on the track.
After setting a record lap time, being the first to clock in at 1m29s on the Le Mans circuit, Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) suffered a crash at turn four about three minutes before the end.
Less than a minute later, it was Bagnaia (Ducati), who had the second-best time, experiencing a crash. The incident occurred at turn nine.
Neither of the riders suffered significant physical injuries and, a few minutes later, they appeared normally for interviews on the official broadcast. You can watch the crashes below.
