The last lap of the MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix did not decide anything at the top positions, but there were changes at the end of the top ten, thanks to a move by Fabio Quartararo.
The Monster Energy Yamaha rider started the final lap in 11th place, behind Miguel Oliveira (Trackhouse Racing/Aprilia) and Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46/Ducati).
But, without giving up, Quartararo decided to attack right at the beginning of the lap and, at turn one, made a double overtake on both rivals with an outside line.
Neither Oliveira nor Bezzecchi had the capacity to respond, and the Frenchman managed to secure ninth place in this way. You can see the moment of the overtake in the following video.
