In February, motorcycle enthusiasts, particularly fans of the iconic Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, will have a unique opportunity to acquire a 20-year-old model in like-new condition.
The bike will go under the hammer during an auction by Iconic Auctioneers at the Devitt MCN London Motorcycle Show, held at ExCeL London on February 16. Interested buyers can view it on the two preceding days.
This Fireblade features a livery inspired by Honda’s MotoGP team from that era and was recently imported from Hong Kong. It has only been started once and then returned to its original crate, remaining unregistered – making it a superbike that’s effectively brand-new despite its two-decade age.
The bike is powered by a 998cc inline-four engine paired with a six-speed gearbox, delivering 172 hp of power.
As expected, it doesn’t feature the latest technologies, as it remains entirely unmodified. The guide price is set between £10,000 and £15,000 (approximately €11,900 to €17,856), plus taxes.
