Miguel Oliveira had a complicated Friday at the MotoGP Catalunya GP. The Trackhouse Racing rider was unable to get involved in the fight for the top ten in the afternoon practice, finishing in 13th place.
Throughout the session, he spent a lot of time in lower positions before improving towards the end. The difficulties with the Aprilia RS-GP were evident, as he couldn’t find the ideal solutions to be competitive in Barcelona – unlike Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia), who was the fastest.
After the session’s events, Oliveira had very little to say to the press. The usual debrief lasted about 20 seconds, with the Portuguese rider only stating:
– The practice was a bit better towards the end, but the feeling with the bike is very strange. I don’t know what’s going on, it’s very difficult for me to pinpoint a couple of issues. But above all, we need a lot of stability and rear grip, so I’m looking forward to that tomorrow.
