The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon is a 39bhp motorcycle you can ride on a CBT, and it was on display at the Bike Shed Moto Show this weekend.

MotoMondo brought the recently launched Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon to its first public outing this weekend, as the motorcycle was exhibited at the Bike Shed Moto Show in London.

Ultraviolette’s flagship model, the F77 MACH 2 RECON, delivered robust performance with 30 kW (39bhp) and 100 Nm of torque, enabling rapid acceleration and a top speed of 138 km/h. Power came from a 10.3 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 232 kilometres. It also included various features such as riding modes, regenerative braking, and stability control. Despite its peak output of 40 HP, it qualified as an A1-class motorcycle. Due to licensing legislation in the UK, which measures continuous power rather than peak output, the F77 could be ridden with a CBT certificate or any A1, A2, or A category licence.

Ultraviolette wasn’t just showcasing its latest UK-available offering – the company has lofty ambitions in the electric sector, despite the rather bleak backdrop of disappointing electric bike sales over here. The company’s press release stated that it would ‘revolutionise the automotive industry’, going on to say that it was ‘committed to delivering a sustainable and future-ready mobility solution for riders across the globe.’

Speaking about the launch event, Jan Ykema, Managing Director of MotoMondo, said:

‘We were thrilled to unveil the Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 RECON for the very first time in the United Kingdom at the highly anticipated Bike Shed Moto Show. Ultraviolette is redefining sustainable mobility, and we looked forward to making a meaningful impact on this dynamic landscape. With the F77 we wanted to offer a revolutionary Performance Electric Motorcycle to the UK market. We were eager to embark on this journey in a market renowned for its innovation and passion for cutting-edge automotive technology, and our presence at the Bike Shed Moto Show 2025 marked the beginning.’

The Bike Shed Moto Show took place in London from May 23 to May 25. The official press presentation of this motorcycle took place two days ago (May 23) at 17:00 at the Ultraviolette booth in the Little Gallery at the show. The event took place at 50 Porters Walk, E1W 2SF.
