TVS introduced a new engine this week at MotoSoul 2024 – the second with liquid-cooling that the Indian manufacturer produces.
The RTX D4, a 300cc engine, will feature a six-speed gearbox and a ride-by-wire system, according to BikeWale. It delivers 35 horsepower and 28.5 Nm of torque.
AutoCar India reports that the engine’s design is modern, incorporating a plasma-coated cylinder and a dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) configuration. Additionally, it boasts a notably flat torque curve.
This new engine is expected to debut in TVS’s upcoming adventure motorcycle, which has already been spotted in testing. The bike features off-road-focused elements such as spoked wheels and long-travel suspension.
