The models that have captivated the attention of motorcyclists worldwide now have a set price for the Portuguese market. Announced about three months ago, the highly anticipated Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X have been generating curiosity and excitement. Now, we can announce their arrival at dealerships in January 2024 and their respective prices: €5,595 (Speed 400) and €6,295 (Scrambler 400 X).
The launch of the new Triumph reinforces the essence of a family of Modern Classic motorcycles, in which the British company seeks to appeal to all types of motorcyclists. In fact, at this price, both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X offer a good quality/price ratio with attributes such as class-leading capabilities, a high level of equipment, driving technology, and interesting standard technical specifications; as well as premium quality details and finishes, the longest maintenance intervals in their category, at every 16,000 km.
A Triumph offers, thus, two extremely affordable and attractive models for a whole new generation of riders. Paul Stroud, Commercial Director of Triumph Motorcycles, stated: “We want these bikes to be as accessible and competitive as possible, and we hope that these prices will surprise and excite future customers in all markets. We believe we offer incredible value, both in terms of initial purchase price and overall ownership costs.”
The Speed 400 joins the most successful and sporty trend range of the Triumph Modern Classics range and offers an agile, light, and dynamic driving experience that brings confidence and fun to any journey for 5.595€. The style, driving, performance, and sound are truly Triumph.
A motorcycle designed for the most demanding standards, combining a list of premium specifications, such as its completely new TR single-cylinder engine developed to offer immediate power delivery, full of character and completely usable, with unique performance in its category. In addition, the neutral but active riding position offered by the low seat and Roadster-focused chassis, together with high-quality suspensions and brakes, gives all types of riders the agility and confidence typical of Triumph to make the most of the dynamic performance of the Speed 400.
The precision and finishes of all Triumph Modern Classics are very present in the Speed 400. From the electrostatically coated black engine covers to the paint finish, everything in the Speed 400 exudes the characteristics of a top Triumph Modern Classic.
The Scrambler 400 X bases its robust design on the Scrambler 900 and 1200 and arrives in Portugal in January for €6,295 with a timeless silhouette and an unmistakable Triumph Scrambler style thanks to its premium finishes and complete technical specifications. Its new single-cylinder engine designed by Hinckley provides immediate vigorous response, with power and torque unique to its class.
The dominant riding position, wide handlebars, and chassis combine to offer great comfort on and off the road. The capabilities of the Scrambler 400 X are largely due to the quality suspensions, with 150 mm of travel, and the dual-piston radial brake caliper, which provide precise, agile, and intuitive handling, appreciated by both novice and experienced riders. Both the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are already available on the online configurator on the Triumph website so that future owners can choose from the three available color schemes for each model and add the original accessories available to modify the options for style, comfort, safety, and even luggage for both models, as well as simulate their order with the dealer or save different configurations to decide later.
In addition, “the reservation system to get the first units is already in place through official dealers, who will receive the first units of both models in January. We are confident that a whole new generation of riders will soon enjoy the iconic style, quality, and performance for which we are known,” confirms Paul Stroud.
