This pre-season for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team has been full of unexpected events during testing, as the weather has not been on the team’s side and this weekend they were in Valencia for some ‘unplanned tests’ completed in Spain. Nevertheless, Toprak Razgatlioglu has been happy with his progress.
The Turkish rider talked about the team’s misfortunes, at a time when he is trying to get used to the new bike: ‘We haven’t had much luck in the past few days. Also in Valencia, it started raining a bit on Friday morning and the track was completely wet. But this track dries very quickly and we were able to ride again in the afternoon’.
Although he hasn’t spent much time aboard the BMW M 1000 RR, the former world champion is enjoying the current learning process and mentioned what he likes the most:
– We made great improvements, especially in the last three outings, and I am really enjoying the BMW M 1000 RR. Especially with the engine brake and electronics, we made great improvements.
