Toni Bou (Montesa) once again confirmed his status as the most successful rider in Trial history by securing his 18th consecutive TrialGP World Championship title during the race held in Cahors, in the south of France.

This year’s season began in Japan, where Bou dominated from the first day of competition. With an impressive winning streak in nine of the ten events held, the 37-year-old once again cemented his name in the history books of the sport.

In today’s race, despite a tricky start, with a maximum penalty at the very first obstacle, Bou demonstrated his mastery by quickly adapting to the conditions of the course, which included large rocks and steep climbs in the quarry sections, as well as artificial sections along the banks of the beautiful Lot river. At the end of the first lap, Bou was leading with six penalties, plus one time penalty, putting him ten points clear of his long-time rival, Adam Raga (Sherco). On the second lap, Bou accumulated another seven penalty points, plus another time penalty, but ended the day eight points ahead of Jaime Busto (GASGAS), who made an impressive recovery with just two penalties on the second lap.

The third place on the podium was fought over until the last moment, with Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) securing the position with a minimal margin over Raga, thanks to a flawless last section.
