After two consecutive titles, Francesco Bagnaia is aiming for a third championship in MotoGP this year – which, if achieved, will allow him to equal the number of victories of Kenny Roberts, Jorge Lorenzo, and Wayne Rainey.
However, there are new regulations to adapt to – namely the mandatory minimum pressure of the front tire, violations of which will be sanctioned with potential disqualification; and the concessions system that severely limits Ducati’s motorcycle development.
Bagnaia was asked to comment on these changes in an interview with MOW Mag, to which he replied: ‘For Michelin, you have no say in the matter, so I don’t even waste time thinking about it. Of course, if you want to give concessions to others, it doesn’t make sense to take something away from us. It seems a bit stupid to me, but…‘.
