The MXGP World Championship continues this weekend and will have the fifth round in Águeda, Portugal, where Tim Gajser is aiming for victory, as always, on a track he likes, while also expressing the desire to maintain the consistency shown in the last rounds.
In a team statement, Team HRC, Gajser gave his preview for this upcoming round, after a few weeks off where he was able to relax and return to peak physical condition: ‘It was good to have a few weekends off, just to recharge the batteries a bit before this stretch of races, where we have six rounds in seven weekends’.
The Slovenian then pointed to the next round in Águeda: ‘I like going to Portugal because the track is good and the fans always give me a lot of support and it’s just a good weekend overall. Obviously, I want to win, as I try to do every weekend, but we are still early in the championship and right now I am riding well and staying consistent and that is very important’.
