The MXGP world continues this weekend in St Jean d’Angely, France, and Tim Gajser is excited to get back on the track and confident that this will be a good round, in a place where he has already managed to win.
Gajser didn’t have the best lap in Spain a week ago, but he is sure that everything will go better, hoping that the weather conditions will be favorable:
– I’m excited to go back to St Jean again. The way France rotates its GPs, it’s good that we don’t always ride on the same track and after a year off, I’m sure this weekend will be another good one. I’ve won there in the past and I know the track well, and I hope the weather doesn’t affect us too much, as I’ve heard the forecast hasn’t been good before the race and it’s not looking so good for the weekend either. Still, we showed in Portugal that we can handle whatever happens, so now the goal is to get back on the podium and enjoy the action.
The Slovenian is currently in second place in the world championship, just two points behind Jorge Prado.
