There are only three rounds left in the MotoGP season and everything remains open in the title fight. It is increasingly centered on Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martín.
With two wins in the Thai GP, Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) has shortened the gap to leader Bagnaia (Ducati) to 13 points. With a weekend worth 37 points, anything can happen until Valencia.
Further back is Marco Bezzecchi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team/Ducati), in third. The Italian is 79 points off the top, but also has a relatively comfortable margin of 61 points over Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM).
The South African is now 51 points ahead of Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia, who regained fifth place from Johann Zarco (Pramac/Ducati). Further down, Fabio Quartararo is the best of Monster Energy Yamaha and moved up to ninth, while the highest ranked Honda rider remains Marc Márquez: he is now in 14th, after overtaking Miguel Oliveira (CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team/Aprilia). This is the second consecutive GP in which the Portuguese rider loses a position in the World Championship.
