The MotoGP tests that start tomorrow in Losail will be the last for Luca Marini to adapt to the Honda RC213V before the start of the season at the Qatar GP. For that reason, they are very important, as they will also serve to start preparing for this inaugural round.
On the eve of the test, the Italian told the press: ‘This is also a track that I like, last year went very well. So, I feel good here. I need to understand the potential of our bike this year. I think it’s a bit different compared to last year. Everything is new, we have to understand a bit‘.
Marini believes that the Qatar test will be different, also keeping the GP in mind: ‘This test will be very different compared to Malaysia because we have many things to try out here as well, but it will also be planned to prepare for the competition weekend – for everyone. I think this is the plan. I think everyone’s performance will be very high because we want to understand our speed and we want to prepare very well for the first GP of the year‘.
