Luca Marini will be a Repsol Honda rider in the 2024 MotoGP season, beginning his first experience as a factory rider. His brother, Valentino Rossi, also rode for the manufacturer, but had a career primarily linked to Yamaha.
However, there are images of Marini as a child dressed in a racing suit with the colors of Repsol Honda in a youth competition. A coincidence that #10 was asked to comment on in an interview with the team’s communication department:
– This is something incredible, something done by destiny, I don’t know. I don’t remember very well why I wore that racing suit. I remember I was very happy to have those colors because also in that period, in those years, they were incredible, just like every year in the history of MotoGP with the colors of the Repsol Honda Team being incredible. So, it is a great pleasure to wear them now in MotoGP.
