Nicolò Bulega finished this World Supersport Championship with another victory after the red flag in Race 2, and this was certainly a year he won’t forget anytime soon, especially because he proved he deserved to be promoted to Superbike… with the factory team. The Italian was naturally very pleased with this season.
In a team statement, number 11 analyzed this year, considering it the best of his career: ‘It was an incredible year, the best of my career so far. We achieved fantastic results with a team that welcomed me in an extraordinary way. I thank them, one by one, for giving me everything to be competitive again after some difficult seasons.’
Bulega ended the season with 503 points, 95 more than the second-placed Stefano Manzi.
