John Kocinski, one of the references of American motorcycling, was present at the Americas GP and spoke about the current state of MotoGP in an exclusive interview with GPONE.
The American rider talked about the importance of the Trackhouse Racing team in MotoGP and mentioned some riders who were very important for the USA in MotoGP, such as Randy Mamola, for example. The arrival of an American team clearly shows the intentions of a long-term investment in MotoGP and for the next generation of American riders. Kocinski also added: ‘Thirty years ago, Americans had a very strong presence in MotoGP races, but unfortunately, over time, that presence disappeared’
