It was a super happy Jorge Martín who appeared in the closed park, with the Spaniard smiling after winning in Jerez, in front of his supporters. The Pramac Racing rider said it was a very complicated day, due to the track conditions, and that tomorrow, in the long race, it could be ‘a different story’.
‘It was a difficult race, the track conditions were very tough. I had a good start, but then I saw that Marc Márquez was catching up even though I was pushing hard and as soon as he overtook me, I made a mistake in turn seven and he caught me, then I tried to follow him, tried to push and he made a mistake,’ said #89 to the MotoGP microphones, before saying that tomorrow the race could be very different:
– I’m sure that tomorrow, in dry track conditions, it will be a different story and I hope we can enjoy today because winning in Jerez is fantastic and I am really very happy.
