Pedro Acosta had a very impactful debut in MotoGP, in terms of performance in the races, and Nicolas Goyon was one of those who dealt more closely with the rookie during the Qatar race weekend.
The Team Manager of Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 spoke about the young rider’s weekend and did not spare words of praise for the Spaniard’s performance: ‘It was an exciting opening round for the Red Bull GASGAS Tech3 team. When Pedro Acosta qualified directly for Q2 on Saturday and finished eighth in the Sprint, it was already a successful weekend for us, but the Sunday race was MotoGP at its climax!’, said the manager before considering the rider’s performance in the main race as ‘unbelievable’.
– Pedro had an unbelievable race for his MotoGP debut, he managed to reach fourth place before dropping back a bit, but it’s unbelievable for a rookie. He fought with big names in MotoGP, and it’s a great achievement for which we can only congratulate him.
The Frenchman also had a word of praise for those who work off the track: ‘He was quite happy with his bike on Sunday, so we can only highlight the work done by Pierer Mobility and the team this weekend and during the winter, because we have a bike to fight with. Finally, thanks to Pedro for his work, he has a bright future ahead of him and we are just getting started’.
