The 2023 MotoGP season ended less than a month ago and already eyes are on the next season. Francesco Bagnaia is a two-time champion and is the favorite, but the Ducati rider is far from the only one to attract attention.
Ricard Jové said on Nico Abad’s YouTube channel that he expects a particularly intense battle between Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac/Ducati) and Marc Márquez (Gresini/Ducati) – eager to be the best Spanish rider in the field:
– The duel between Marc and Martín will be deep, out of nationalism, to be “the best at home”. Here you have Martín’s feedback against [Marc] Márquez and add Álex Márquez as well because he has the chance, he has one more year of experience with the bike and will have access to the data of his brother Marc.
That said, Jové has no doubts that Bagnaia is the main title contender: ‘Pecco remains the top rival to beat, very close is Martín and of course Marc Márquez will also be there. From there, [Enea] Bastianini, [Fabio] Di Giannantonio or [Franco Morbidelli] and Álex Márquez. I’m only talking about Ducati‘.
