The 32 riders who will compete in the World Supersport Championship full-time next season are already known. There are several new additions to the provisional permanent entry list, including a new manufacturer.
This is QJMotor, which lines up with a bike handed over to Raffaele De Rosa – the Italian competed this year with Orelac Racing VerdNatura on a Kawasaki. Adrián Huertas, who represented MTM Kawasaki this year, will have the difficult task of replacing champion Nicolò Bulega at Aruba.it Ducati.
After being the runner-up, Stefano Manzi remains with Ten Kate Racing Yamaha to challenge for the title, while his new teammate is Glenn van Straalen – Jorge Navarro is now with WRP-RT Motorsport by SKM-Triumph. MV Agusta launches its title bid based on stability by once again relying on Bahattin Sofuoglu and Marcel Schrötter.
The Italian constructor expands its activities as it will provide a satellite team – the Motozoo ME AIR Racing, which will have Federico Caricasulo and Luke Power as riders. Triumph will also have two more bikes delivered to WRP-RT Motorsport by SKM-Triumph of Navarro and John McPhee.
Simone Corsi returns to full-time competition with Renzi Corse, while Hikari Okubo comes from the MotoE World Championship and will be with the newly arrived Vince64 Racing Team by Puccetti. Two other rookies are Kaito Toba and Khairul Idham Pawi, in the Petronas MIE Honda Racing Team. Another notable comeback is Lorenzo Baldassarri, for Orelac Racing VerdNatura.
