The next Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has been spotted testing, but this time in Europe. We now have clearer images of the upcoming bike and this has helped us to identify some parts of the bike that we hadn’t seen before. Previously, the bike was spotted testing in India and we could also hear the sound of the exhaust.
The Bullet 650 has almost identical styling to the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, with its round headlight housed inside a metal fairing, and the direction indicator lights with the iconic Royal Enfield tiger eyes. The front fork is also a telescopic unit with metal covers like the Bullet 350.
Although the Bullet 650 is built on the same platform as the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, Royal Enfield has made a few adjustments to make the bike more retro. The first of these is the chrome finish in general, including the engine and exhausts. The twin exhausts now stand out thanks to the chrome finish and the contours of the crankcase are clearly visible, showing the slightly raised “Royal Enfield” lettering.
Finally, we also got a better look at the seat and it’s a large one-piece unit similar to that of the Bullet 350. The bike also features a square rear mudguard, along with a mudguard bracket, to prevent the saddlebags from hitting the tires.
This next Royal Enfield bike will be equipped with the same 648cc air/oil-cooled twin-cylinder engine that we have seen in other Royal Enfield 650 models, such as the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650. The engine produces 47 hp and 52.3 Nm.
We expect it to be launched in late 2024 or early 2025.
