2024 will be a time for the Trackhouse project to get to know the corners of the new home. In an interview with the Mister Helmet podcast, Aprilia’s CEO, Massimo Rivola, talked about the upcoming season.
‘The new season will be about getting to know MotoGP. Later, we will talk about podiums and victories,’ the official began by saying, before explaining that it will be difficult for Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández to have new bikes in the near future.
‘It will be a problem to give both riders a new bike. But Miguel will have one from 2024 at the beginning of the season,’ he stressed, before revealing that CEO Justin Marks is trying to find more financial support so that ‘the team does not have a tight budget. They presented the project to us fantastically,’ he emphasized.
In the statements, Rivola also highlighted that the new team will have the support of the staff that belonged to RNF and that the connection to Aprilia will add ‘the adrenaline of being a new team’, he concluded.
Trackhouse Racing was confirmed as a partner of Aprilia, following the departure of the CryptoDATA RNF team from the circuit.
