With the heat of competition and the necessary aggression to come out on top, motorcycle riders don’t always execute clean maneuvers – sometimes due to mistakes, sometimes for pushing the limits.
In a quick question and answer interview with the official World Superbike website, Danilo Petrucci was challenged to choose the cleanest rider in the championship: ‘I believe it’s Toprak [Razgatlioglu]. He always makes some impossible overtakes, but he’s always very clean,’ he said.
The Turkish rider was the vice-world champion and rarely gets involved in incidents, either by himself or with other riders, despite being one of the most aggressive in the field – in 2023 he only retired from two races.
