Every year, the designers who create the graphics for KTM’s Factory Racing team have an interesting job. Although their main goal may be to create appealing designs for racing motorcycles, the knowledge that they are also inspiring future generations of cool motorcycles for street use probably exists somewhere in the back of their minds.
Obviously, we can’t say for sure what they are thinking. Still, it’s the kind of math that makes sense for virtually all manufacturers with factory racing teams and road bike models. You can see it again with the latest paint and graphics updates found on the 2024 KTM RC 390.
It may not have the Red Bull logos, but the combination of this beautiful and deep blue tone with orange certainly results from the long-standing partnership between the energy drink empire and KTM in racing.
The 2024 KTM RC 390 is equipped with a liquid-cooled 373 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 43 hp of power and 36.6 Nm of torque. The bore and stroke are 89 mm by 60 mm. It has a PASC slipper clutch and is equipped with a six-speed gearbox. QuickShift is available as an optional accessory. This engine uses Bosch engine management.
Note that this is not the updated 399 cc engine found in the 2024 KTM 390 Duke.
KTM sells its motorcycles worldwide, just like many international motorcycle manufacturers. As such, prices and availability vary depending on the region. Your best bet for obtaining more accurate information about prices and availability in your area is to contact your local authorized KTM dealer to clarify any doubts you may have or to schedule a test ride.
KTM informs that the RC 390 2024 should be available at its authorized KTM dealership network in February 2024.
