Currently in eighth place in the championship, Luca Marini heads to the Malaysian MotoGP this weekend. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider has been putting in strong performances, recently scoring a pole position in Indonesia.
For the Italian, it is a circuit with good memories and where he is usually competitive: ‘I’m always happy to return to Sepang, one of my favorite tracks where I achieved my first World Championship victory in 2018 in Moto2. I’ve always done well here, managing to adapt to the sometimes truly prohibitive temperatures’.
Marini assured that he faces the Malaysian GP with positive feelings and determined to have a good final phase of the season: ‘With the shoulder feeling better, in Thailand we managed the Saturday race and weather conditions well, while in the race we had more difficulties. However, the feelings are positive, it will be three busy weeks, the goal is to end the season harvesting as much as possible‘.
