New year, new team in MotoGP for Luca Marini. The rider will be in Repsol Honda in 2024, joining a factory team for the first time, in which he will have the mission of helping in the path of recovery of competitiveness.
The Italian was questioned by the team’s press department about the goals he faces in the new season. In his response, he explained the approach he will have:
– I want to start with an open mind, we need to understand our speed, our potential after the first official test, and we need to find our balance, find a way to beat our direct competitors who are my teammates, with the same manufacturer, with the same bike – that is the first goal on my part, for sure.
That being said, Marini reiterated that he also wants to think about results in the top positions: ‘I am also eager to try to find a way to get a podium with this bike, or a victory. I know it might be complicated, but we need to look ahead‘.
