The Magnolia 4 is a motorcycle designed by JT Nesbitt and the Bienville Studios in New Orleans, distinguished by its unique engine configuration.
It features four cylinders in a longitudinal inline arrangement, a reinterpretation of a common solution from the past among American manufacturers. In the Magnolia 4, these cylinders are air and liquid-cooled, with cooling fins on the housing.
The engine has a displacement of 1,750 cc and a vertical shaft, along with a variable crankshaft. It is paired with a three-speed manual gearbox, with a centrifugal clutch.
According to the site Motorrad Online, the Magnolia 4 has a frame made of aluminum. The suspension system is partly inspired by vintage motorcycles, with hydro-pneumatic shock absorbers at the front and rear.
With production limited to 12 units, the Magnolia 4 costs $200,000. A small price to pay for a very unique and different motorcycle that combines power, technology, and classic solutions, as well as design.
