Ducati has eight bikes on track in the 2024 MotoGP season. Four are the latest version – delivered to the factory team and Prima Pramac Racing. Gresini has last year’s Desmosedici GP23, as does Pertamina Enduro VR46.
Fabio Di Giannantonio said the four bikes are not radically different from each other, denying that he is using something different from his teammate, Marco Bezzecchi:
– I haven’t checked the latest numbers, but I think overall all Ducatis are very similar. I just think I have something different in the setup, but it’s not that different. [Jorge] Martín is using the bike a bit differently from everyone else, but Bez and I are using a very similar bike, to be honest.
As expected, the GP24 has more evolutions than the GP23, so the two models are not exactly the same although they may have relatively similar configuration parameters.
At the moment, Di Giannantonio is in tenth place in the championship with 34 points, always finishing in the top ten of the main races. Bezzecchi is just ahead of him, with two more points.
