Honda has many changes in MotoGP for 2024. After the departures of Álex Rins from LCR Honda and Marc Márquez from Repsol Honda, they now have Johann Zarco and Luca Marini in their respective places – two riders coming from Ducati satellite teams. But only Marc Márquez’s departure causes changes in the work developed, as explained by test rider Stefan Bradl.
The German told GPOne.com: ‘The development work will be more open. Marc Márquez was the one who was always consulted and listened to, until the end. Now we are receiving many indications regarding the bikes of other manufacturers through Zarco and Marini, which is very important. And they tell us what is good and what is bad about our bike. According to Bradl, this will be key to recovering competitiveness… but he warned that the road is still long: ‘Then we can start developing new components that will finally offer visible improvements in terms of performance. The process is underway, but it will take time and won’t be done overnight. It will take a few months‘.
