Images of Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber patents, a motorcycle that could also be called Shotgun 350, have surfaced online and look very similar to what was seen in previous tests.
The 350cc bobber has a “mini ape-hanger” handlebar, and although there is a passenger seat in the patent design, it is likely to be removable and could be offered as an additional accessory, as in the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The bobber appears to have the same headlight, taillight, fuel tank, mirrors, front fender, and side panels as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, but is likely to have LED indicators.
The upcoming Bobber 350 is likely to be equipped with the same air/oil-cooled 350cc single-cylinder engine, J platform of the Classic 350 that produces 20 hp and 27Nm. However, it may receive a slightly more sporty tuning.
In terms of hardware, the motorcycle remains the same as the Classic 350. Built on the same double cradle frame, it will likely have the same telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. The braking system is also expected to be the same, with a 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. However, the Bobber 350 may have a different rear fender than the Classic 350 and alloy wheels with spoked rims.
There are reports that the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 may be called Goan Classic 350, but we won’t be surprised if Royal Enfield calls it Shotgun 350.
