Francesco Bagnaia struggles to defend the MotoGP title he won last year, and there will be no shortage of opposition. Especially in the satellite teams of Ducati, where Marc Márquez joins Gresini and vice-champion Jorge Martín remains in Pramac.
The Italian Ducati rider said in a press conference that he hopes Márquez has a competitive bike in his hands: ‘As for Márquez, I think many riders will be competitive this season. The 2023 bike he will use is a winning bike and certainly better than the one he used last season. So, let’s see’.
Regarding Martín, Bagnaia commented: ‘I don’t know if Martín will be a rival again. It is true that he is a strong rider and will be competitive, but it’s too early’.
