Portugal will host the 2024 edition of the KTM Europe Adventure Rally, with this expected to be the largest edition ever.
The increase in size compared to previous editions of the Adventure Rally is due to a significant increase in the number of spots that KTM will offer in 2024. In total, 250 people will be taken to the Algarve region in southern Portugal with KTM for the 2024 Europe Adventure Rally.
KTM states that the route will consist of “loops that cater to all tastes, from beginners to more experienced riders,” and will cover a distance of 800 km, taking three days to complete. Navigation will be done via GPS or by “tour guides” leading the groups. Additionally, support will be provided by KTM ambassadors Chris Birch, Johnny Aubert, Giovanni Sala, as well as a full team of KTM technical staff, including R&D personnel, customer service, and product management.
The rally will take place in the city of Lagos, where participants will be accommodated in four-star hotels throughout the event.
KTM does not mention which motorcycles will be available to participate in the Europe Adventure Rally 2024. They will certainly be from the KTM Adventure range, but it is not exactly known which models will be used. If the previous edition in Norway serves as a reference, then everything will be available, from the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R to the 690 Enduro R.
The KTM Europe Adventure Rally 2024 is scheduled for October 7-10, 2024. Reservations will open on January 30, 2024.
