Alberto Vergani revealed his thoughts on this matter, according to motosan.es, talking about Marc Márquez’s performance and potential.
– Marquez, with Gresini Ducati, once again showed us the champion and talent that, in my opinion, is a mix of Rossi and Stoner, because he has Valentino’s cunning and Casey’s talent. From today he is third in the world championship and, without the brake issue in Austin, he would have scored more points in the championship. I think Marc has dispelled the doubts of many and Honda’s current position is confirmation of that.
He also added, giving his opinion on who he would choose if it depended on him: ‘The best solution would be to bring Martin to the factory team and Marc to Pramac, avoiding Campinoti going to Yamaha. That would be the ideal scenario, but there are many dynamics at play and Gigi certainly has his eye on Marquez. There is only one certainty in all of this’
