This year, Trackhouse Racing starts its debut season in MotoGP with an updated Aprilia RS-GP, delivered to Miguel Oliveira – the other rider of the satellite team, Raúl Fernández, will have to wait a few more months, competing for now with last year’s version.
Davide Brivio, who recently took on the role of team manager, was asked about the differences between the new bike and the previous one. In his response, the Italian stated:
– I’m not technical enough to tell you the differences, but as far as you can see, as far as I know, the 2024 one has been heavily developed in terms of aerodynamics, so it’s a step forward. There are also improvements in other areas such as the engine, the frame… anyway, it’s not a new bike, but a different bike. I think they tried to correct as much as possible the weaknesses or aspects that could be improved from last year. It’s a new bike, but also a bike that needs to be developed, understood, and set up.
