The Aprilia RS457 is one of the most anticipated novelties of 2024, especially because it brings many innovations for a sport motorcycle from a Western brand: it is a motorcycle developed to meet the tastes and needs of many different markets (from Asia to Europe, to give just one example) and it is particularly appealing to technological refinement, which makes it extremely interesting for our regions, as well as a true premium product for India and other Asian countries.
A motorcycle that we have already seen at EICMA 2023. In December, the small sport motorcycle from Noale – where it was developed – made its debut in India, at India Bike Week 2023, and now production begins on the subcontinent at the Piaggio Group factory in Baramati, not far from Pune.
In summary, it seems that we are very close – Indian media reports mention deliveries in March – to being able to test the A2 sport bike with a declared power-to-weight ratio at the lower limit of its category.
